Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about AccuRaik Tally Connector.
How do I enable XML communication in Tally Prime?
In Tally Prime, press F1 (Help) → Settings → Connectivity → Client/Server Configuration. Set "TallyPrime acts as" to Both or Server, and set the Port to 9000. Restart Tally Prime. AccuRaik Connector will automatically detect it.
Does AccuRaik Tally Connector work with Tally ERP 9?
Yes. Tally ERP 9 (Release 6.0 and above) has the exact same XML port architecture. Simply ensure ODBC/XML server is enabled on port 9000 in your tally.ini or F12 Advanced Configuration.

Absolutely. The Connector communicates strictly over localhost (127.0.0.1) on your local machine. No external inbound connections are accepted, and data transmitted from the AccuRaik Cloud is secured via TLS 1.3 encryption.
What happens if the vendor ledger doesn't exist in Tally?
AccuRaik automatically includes party master creation payloads in the voucher request. If the vendor ledger does not exist in Tally, Tally automatically creates the ledger under Sundry Creditors with the correct GSTIN, State Code, and Address before posting the purchase voucher.
