Frequently Asked Security Questions
1. Does AccuRaik read my Tally data?
No. AccuRaik operates as a one-way export tool. We generate XML files that you manually import into your local Tally software. We do not require network access, API access, or direct connections to your local Tally database, ensuring your core accounting ledger remains completely under your local control.
2. How long do you keep uploaded invoices and bank statements?
By default, document files (PDFs and images) are temporarily stored during processing and are permanently deleted from our servers immediately after the structured data is exported or within 30 days (whichever is earlier). Extracted metadata is retained based on your account settings to provide you with historical dashboards.
3. Is my data shared with OpenAI or other AI providers?
We use a combination of proprietary, locally hosted OCR models and secure enterprise API endpoints. When enterprise APIs are utilized, they are bound by strict Zero Data Retention agreements. This guarantees that your sensitive financial data is never stored by third-party AI providers and is never used to train their foundational models.
4. What happens if I delete my account?
If you choose to delete your AccuRaik account, all associated data, including extracted invoice data, user details, and client configurations, is permanently wiped from our active databases and subsequently purged from our backups within 30 days.
